This SCOTUS decision represents a lethal blow to citizens’ constitutional right to vote on education budgets. It will set a deadly Constitutional precedent for funding of other services. Such taxation without representation was major cause of the American Revolution.

“In a major victory for what advocates call the school choice movement, the U.S. Supreme Court effectively killed state constitutional provisions in as many as 38 states that bar taxpayer aid to parochial schools. The vote was 5-4, with Chief Justice John Roberts writing the decision for the court’s conservative justices.”

Very abbreviated history of how we are losing our constitutional republic through school choice/charters:

Please note the predominance of Republicans involved in the following unconstitutional activities.

(1) Use of public monies is FORBIDDEN by law:

From The Don Bell Report, July 9, 1990:

Virginia Birt Baker, has written some words of warning regarding the tax voucher scam. She knows whereof she writes and has the documentation to back it up. So we are pleased to reprint an excerpt from “Educational choice: An Innovative Report”:

Once private education accepts tuition tax credits or vouchers it can no longer remain private, because through government regulations, it will be forced to become one and the same with its public counterparts. “Any state and a bureaucratic agency for the propagation of ideology and the enforcement of standards. And the standards will be devised not by the enthusiasts of vouchers,… but by the same old coalition of educationists… who know exactly what they want, and exactly how to get it.”

What do they want and how will they get it? To start with, George Bernard Shaw of the socialist Fabian Society of England, said, “Nothing will more quickly destroy independent Christian schools than state aid; their freedom and independence will soon be compromised, and before long their faith.”

His protege, Keynesian economist Milton Friedman, began in 1960 to promote the voucher plan, at first unsuccessfully in his Alum Rock Experiment. In 1970 he wrote Free to Choose, and in July, 1980, the First Global Conference on the Future was held in Toronto, Canada. One of its prime objectives was to push education choice on an unsuspecting American, Canadian and European citizenry. Some of the participants were

Edward Cornish (World Future Society);

Aurileo Peccei (Club of Rome);

R.T. Francouer (Aquarian Cabal);

Miriam and Edward Kelty (Natl. Inst. of Mental Health);

Dorothey MacLean (Findhorm Foundation);

Barbara Marx Hubbard (prominent new ager);

Mark Satin (anarchist, Green Revolution activist);

Marilyn Ferguson (world’s leading new ager);

Maureen Murdock (occultist);

Moshe Davidovitz (American Assoc. for Humanistic Psychology); and many others.

Then, in 1981 the American Legislative Education Council, formed by Paul Weyrich (“We are radicals who want to change the existing power structure. We are not conservatives…”), mailed to 16,000 state and federal officials and legislators a suggested educational voucher. Thomas A. Shannon, Executive Director of the National School Boards Association, said, “Tuition Tax credits for private schools profoundly change the character of private education. Private schools that operate with public money will be subject to public regulations.”

Sure enough, concurrently, on July 18, 1971, key federal legislation underlying and controlling any subsequent education legislation was adopted.

This master control system, “The Interagency Day Care Standards,” hinged
upon the federal government’s own definition of day care: “Day care is
defined as the care of a child on a regular basis by someone other than
the child’s parents for any part of the 24-hour day.”

It states that “Any agency, public or private, which receives federal funds directly or indirectly through a grant or contract… or by way of a voucher plan” must meet all programs that are set down for public schools. Acceptance of Federal funds is an agreement to abide by the requirements.”

(University Press of America, Inc.: Baton Rouge, 1983) by the late Eugene Maxwell Boyce, former professor of educational administration, Bureau of Educational Studies and Field Services,College of Education at the University of Georgia, was published. An excerpt follows:
In the communist ideology the function of universal education is clear, and easily understood.Universal education fits neatly into the authoritarian state. Education is tied directly to jobs—control of the job being the critical control point in an authoritarian state. Level of education, and consequently the level of employment, is determined first by level of achievement in school. They do not educate people for jobs that do not exist…. No such controlled relationship between education and jobs exists in democratic countries.

Our Republic – Quote: Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley

Return our government to its God-given, Constitutionally limited framework.

Tragedy and Hope, A History of the World in Our Time, 1966, to effect that the left and the right are the same, at least at the top…

“The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’

Here is very incomplete list of activities in chronological order which explain how the USA has been moving into communist (and maybe not so LITE) political and economic systems. Thanks overwhelmingly to Republicans in high office.

1798 Proofs of a Conspiracy, John Robison, Scottish scholar (available at Robison’s account of Masonic infiltration (post French Revolution) of education of French royalty’s children even mentions teaching students “need to drop borders”!!!!!! And that was over 200 years ago! Same exact words used in United States public school social studies textbooks in late nineteen hundreds and into this century.

1934 Carnegie Corporation funds publication “Conclusions and Recommendations…Report of the Commission on the Social Studies” which basically calls for USA getting rid of free enterprise (capitalist) economic system and implementing a socialist planned economy. 1984 A letter to President Ronald Reagan was written by Willard W. Garvey, Executive director of the National Center for Privatization, dated April 6, 1984. An excerpt follows: Privatization is now an idea whose time has come…. The knowledge, communication and computer industry can make political representatives obsolete. Privatization might well be the theme for the 200th anniversary of the Constitution. Privatization is essential for national salvation.

The following shocking notation was printed on the letterhead of the above-mentioned letter:

The National Center for Privatization is supported by the following groups and individuals:

Heritage and Reason Foundations; Pacific and Manhattan Institutes; VOLUNTEER; National Center for Citizen Involvement; International Executive Service Corps; United Way with its Services Identification System; National Legal Center for the Public; churches; labor unions,Peter Drucker and Milton Friedman.

Opposition by majority of Americans to all the education restructuring initiatives resulted in initiatives being given different names (acronyms) throughout the latter part of last century and into the 21st century, to hide their similarity.

2016 President Trump’s first term allowed unconstitutional tax-funded school choice/charter school initiatives to advance, first due to his appointment of Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education, and most recently, with proposal for Soviet style education funded by your taxes, as follows:

Trump Administration Proposes New Type of Apprenticeship

…and today with the following announcement related to SCOTUS tax funding of private and religious education (school choice).
