I have been pondering why the POTUS is allowed to hold government workers hostage unless he gets an agreement regarding the Wall.
No one has mentioned the word “hostage” so I googled “Trump holding government workers hostage over the Wall” and lo, and behold, I found that Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Republican, Alaska, had today mentioned this important fact five hours ago.
“I continue to stress that there is no good reason for a shutdown. The reality is thousands of federal employees & contractors have no paycheck in sight, small businesses that rely on them are suffering & there’s no reason they should be held hostage to a political dispute.”
Someone has a brain in the SENATE.
