NOTE: After reading Iserbyt’s letter to Schlafly scroll down through letter’s numerous attachments for letters signed by leading conservative Congressmen and Senators, leaders of well-known so-called “conservative” organizations, etc. to leadership of the Washington State affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA), expressing their approval of Washington Education Association’s plan to restructure American education from academics to workforce training and community education lifelong, thus changing our capitalist economic system to a planned socialist economy in the New World Order, called for by the Carnegie Corporation in its 1934 book entitled Conclusions and Recommendations for the Social Studies.
There was a time when such activity was called “treason”.
