A Wausau school is building students social and emotional well being

WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW) — The Wausau school district is working to build their student’s social and emotional wellness through the “Leader In Me” program.

The program focuses on literature and art as the students learn to build confidence, life skills, conflict resolution and more.

“Leader in Me” is based on the best selling book, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”

While the university is engaged in revising its athletic status through the elimination of weaker directors and coaches, it should carry the process of elimination to other departments, and insist upon a lessening of Communistic activities, real or spurious, within the institution.
