The current situation in Latin America is now far more serious than any of the earlier missile crises in Cuba, Nicaragua or on Grenada Island because none of them ever became operational.<\/p>\n

However, the current situation at the Russian Air Force Base on La Orchila Island, which is administered by Venezuela and the other two-mile long airstrip at Punta Huete in Nicaragua are both fully operational and able to accommodate the giant Antanov An-124 Ruslan military air transports that can carry several Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Warheads capable of reaching all regions in the continental United States with any warning.<\/p>\n

So, unlike the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 when none of the Russian systems had yet become operational, not only are the two-mile long airstrips in Latin America fully-operational, but they are ready to strike at America without any mercy at any time.<\/p>\n

I, Charlotte, know the Caribbean\/Latin American region fairly well, due primarily to having lived, for six years, on the island of Grenada (100 miles north of Venezuela) where the Cubans in the early nineteen seventies were building (funded by the Soviet Union) a very lengthy (2-mile) flight line (runway) at Grenada’s very small airport. This two-mile runway was necessary to accommodate the landing and takeoff needs, with extremely heavy loads of cargo, of the Soviet giant air transport, the Antonov An-124 which can carry many of the Russian Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with thermonuclear warheads able to be be launched within minutes after landing on La Orchila Island in the Caribbean or at Punta Huete in Central America where the nearly two-mile long runways are now operational for accommodating these huge aircraft. The advanced design of the AntonovAn-124 was essential for delivery of thermonuclear warheads to reach America from Grenada or Nicaragua… Grenada being where the very brutal Stalinist revolution took place in 1983, necessitating President Reagan’s decision to move U.S. troops into Grenada. One short war for freedom that was won due to U.S. support for freedom for Grenadian people.<\/p>\n

Even if Spring and I are “overboard concerned”, isn’t it better, with such a possible future scenario of destruction of our nation, to be alert regarding such warnings? <\/p>\n
